Dream 1
Combat Op. Ruined town with massive torn apart metallic buildings. A lot of it incinerated. Fought along other soldiers with my same size. All had suits like hastings' exoskeleton, but designed for warfare. We all operated with extreme efficiency.
All enemies were aliens. Monsters. Zealots, but not Third Party. None had wings.
[At the end of this report, there are sketches of armors like Daisy's, and creatures that looked almost disturbingly stylized.]

Woken up as a young girl. Accompanied with other kids. Men in uniform draw us into a row. One is beaten for leaving the line. Feeling of fear and loneliness. Woman com
[The notes end abruptly, and another message begins.]
[FILTERED TO ALEXEI'S GROUP, THE BLUE ROGUES, DR. HASTINGS, AND FAMILY]
[From the rooftops, there is the sight of Luceti's forest near the village. At first, the view continues to change until something pink moves slowly from behind the woods. There is the sound of a finger dashing the paper it is recording on.
The focus draws closer until the creature becomes clear. A monster resembling a malnourished and bald overgrown wolf that patrols around the village. It notices living beings... but it ignores them, and continues moving.]

If it's someone from the apartment buildings, or the houses, they'd have found him by now.
[This is spoken both as an analysis, and to comfort him. Truth is, this is why she let him see this. He has always been smart enough to give her a good judgement.]
What's important is to know where are they focusing. What are they planning.

Do they react in certain ways to certain people, or are they behaving the same towards all villagers right now? [Robert tries to rationalize what their behaviour could mean.]
I haven't approached any of these creatures, yet, myself. And there are none outside my apartment building that I see... That doesn't preclude them having been there, though. My attention wasn't the greatest until now.
[He shakes his head to clear the anxiety and to try to get his thoughts in order.] If we can track their movements, somehow, then perhaps we can estimate what exactly their motive is. Or what the motive is for the person - or people - who released them here. Because, ostensibly, they've been trained to do this - else they would likely be attacking at random.
A strange kind of reconnaissance...?

They growl at whoever gets close to them, but unless they become a threat, they just move away, and they keep sniffing. They're definitely trained to look for someone in special.
The strange thing, it's not the Third Party. They're too up-front for tactics like these.

Perhaps there's some internal strife. But I've never seen anything like these creatures, so if they had been in the village before, I'm certain someone would have recognized them...
[This is leaving frustratingly few options for where these creatures could have been sent from.
Some tiny voice says "Malnosso" but he wants to reject that possibility outright. The Malnosso have always protected them, haven't they...?]

Adell's open to the option it could be a new front. Could be a breakaway faction or something.
While I'd blame it on the Third Party... I'm out of ideas.
[A frustrated sigh. She hated knowing there was an enemy, but not knowing where. Especially in cases like these.]

... I don't know either. It... it seems so ridiculously unlikely... [But...]
But these creatures are unmistakably there, right? They... they have a physical presence? [He's suddenly curious as to their biological readings. If he wasn't so afraid he'd try to test one.]

I would... take readings, but I'm sure that these creatures would kill me if I tried. [And he doesn't have the strength to fight them and a part of him is now screaming not to fight.]
