Training that turns into instinct. A lot of soldiers struggle with their first battles as adrenaline rushes, but to counteract it, training is drilled until it turns into instinct.

But there's always use for brain in the battlefield. It's all about taking decision in the middle of stress.

[Something that takes time and a lot of training. For a Spartan, used to both adrenaline and living with superconducting brain cells, it may be easy... but not so much for a civilian.]

When you fight up close, [Not if she fights up close, be it against Daisy in training, a simulation, or a cultist in a worst-case scenario.] You'll have to think quickly. But it's better than acting too late.
