REPORT 018 :: SIMULATION // ACTION | VOICE
[ACTION]
[Once again, SPARTAN-023 walks towards the Battle Dome, trying to see if it had been fixed already. Having been a raining day, yesterday was unbearable for the taller girl in a red jumpsuit, so she tries her luck again... But she stops on her tracks. She could hear something near the village. Her keen ears were able to hear familiar things from the woods.
The Chief Petty Officer walks towards these voices, and presses the voice function of her journal.
She removes the safety lock of her pistol.]
[VOICE]
[There is the low rustling of leaves, sign of someone moving stealthily... and whispers in a language that the wings translate into one deep military voice, and three high-pitched ones.
A lone alien voice yells in panic upon seeing the woman.]
Covenant!
[There are more alien screams of alert upon hearing the growl of the Spartan, before rapid gunshots mute one of the high-pitched voices, making the rest of the voices panic and shoot. The deep voice roars devout threats before it is interrupted by the sound of a broken body, followed by alien gunshots that mute the remaining voices.]
This is SPARTAN-023. I need a sitrep. Now.
((OOC: Set the moment the simulated drones begin to show up, at 12:00pm. Even if in this post Daisy is concerned over the Covenant, you can bring in your own monsters and items! :D))

[action]
[Then again... Without the Malnosso themselves, those islands could be full of challenges.
She aims her alien weapon at the source. It was almost empty with the firing she had been doing. Her next shots would have to be more careful against whoever was out there.
Whatever was making those sounds was moving closer, revealing themselves as penguins with knives.]
Dood!
[.......
And the Chief suddenly feels this is an insult to her abilities.]
((OOC: Prinnies it is! And we're both slow slow taggers! /high five))
[action]
[At the sight of the of prinnies, Marco paused utterly.] What are you guys?
[And he repeats it in avian since they look like birds. Like pirate birds! DUDE!]
[action]
[The group of penguins stare at Marco. And at the huge girl.]
We are prinnies, doods.
You are intruders, doods. You have found our super-ultra-secret stash of gold, so we can't let you leave now that you know of our way to be reborn, doods. More prinnies could come over to steal our loot, doods.
No hard feelings, doods.
[.......
The tallest person among them gives the most exhasperated expression.]
I don't have time for this.
[She kicks one of the penguins yards away. Before it explodes.]
[action]
[action]
[An evolutionary advantage in their world, but not when what you breathe is something that can blow up. Such as these penguins.
...
She stares at the angry penguins, and realizes that one of her missions in this place has just been buggered to hell.]
Can I ask a favor, sir? Don't tell Charlotte what I did.
[She is not going to be happy.]
Get them, doods!
[With many doods, they charge against the pair, with daggers, bats with spikes, frying pans, and fish.]
[action]
Charlotte? Don't know her, so I won't. [Not that he would anyway.]
Bring it on dudes. [Grins, so ready to kick them into each other with his taloned feet.]
[action]
[As soon as she sees a penguin fly towards his comrades, she realizes Grunts don't explode as easily.
She pushes her armor to the ground along with herself.]
HERE I COME, DOODS!
[This incident right here is a good way to explain a nuclear chain reaction: A phoenix kicks an exploding penguin towards a horde of more exploding penguins. When it explodes, more penguins fly and explode towards more penguins, resulting in a visage of flying birds that shouldn't fly, destruction, and doods.
A few of the Prinnies, however, try flying towards the pair.]
[action]
Ah damn. Sorry. Hopefully this didn't mess your room up too much, eh? [And just for the fun of it, Marco tries to catch one in such a way that it won't explode.]
[action]
She peeks up, firing a few rounds as if they were clay pidg-- disks. One of the birds is unhappy at being catched by the phoenix, hence why it flails wildly.]
It's a cave for now, and I don't see my notes anywhere.
[Or her fridge, or her couch, or her bed, or her desk, or her coat-hanger... These stupid birds could've brought the armor here only because it was shiny.]
Let go, dood!
I can't imagine what kind of world has them.
[action]
Hm... good point. We should ask if anyone comes from a place with these, eh? For science.
[That isn't how science works, but sure...]
[action]
[But she wonders the same thing. Peg legs and exploding offer no evolutionary advantages.]
Be careful, sir. Jiggling could make them explode.
[Whenever if she is serious or not with that possibility, the Prinny IS ticklish. It laughs, trying to escape from the grasp of the phoenix, trying to kill the phoenix with its' laughable reach and effectiveness, and careful not to actually explode.]
[action]
[action]
[Sadly, a cage does not appear. But, the Chief remembers her suit. She picks the helmet up, records the prinny, and checks her radar for hostiles. Apart from Daisy herself and Marco, nothing else seemed to be there.
At this point the prinny is well aware it is a prisoner. Might as well try to negotiate. Before -trying- to stab someone.]
Will you let me go, doods?
[action]
If we do, are you going to try and stab our ankles?
[action]
[Daisy's helmet records her palm.]
[action]
[Tricky little illusionary monsters.]
[action]
[And the bird continues trying to reach something. Daisy, for her part, looks at the captive penguin.]
What are you going to do with it?
[action]
Hm... not sure actually. I guess trying to keep it for a pet would be too much.
[action]
[The Prinny corrects him.]
If it got past this shift, wouldn't it explode? I think it would be a troublesome pet.
[action]
Sounds exciting. I could always threaten to blow it up. Hey Dood, would you rather die, or live peacefully for a little longer?
[Oh right Daisy, did Marco ever mention he's a pirate? They sometimes have a penchant for kidnappings you know.]
[action]
[Daisy has been hanging around with pirates a lot in Luceti, even if she was trained to see them as threats. But even Spartans saw pirates as minor annoyances when in comparison to other enemies.
Triggers aside, the fact she is not too bothered is due to pirates here not existing in the same universe as the UNSC or as the UEG, and the fact he's bothering an evil penguin and not a human.
Based on technicalities and xenophobia Daisy is attempting to let go of for this place, as the saying goes, "carry on, citizen."]
[action]
[Yeah, so far Marco hasn't hurt a soul in Luceti. Meaning things with souls that is.]
[action]
Is that a philosophical zombie?
[... It's a little disturbing.]
[action]
[Turns to Daisy.] Can you believe this guy?
