REPORT 019 :: MIA // VOICE
[SPARTAN-023 is concerned about these leaves. She makes a few filter tests to check on friends of hers, an easy way to make a roll call: Adell, the rest of the Rogues, Valvalis, Kirimi, Nel, Lina, Jordan, Litchi--
Lina's filter breaks.
...
Daisy hesitates for a few seconds. After a minute, she grabs her journal.]
[VOICE]
Lina Inverse has gone home.
[Spoken unemotionally. Bad news she has been too used to deliver.
It doesn't hurt the Spartan as much. She is back where she should be. Even if she would probably forget about her. About this place.
It still feels as if she has lost a person under her care.]

[VOICE]
Lina Inverse has gone home.
[Spoken unemotionally. Bad news she has been too used to deliver.
It doesn't hurt the Spartan as much. She is back where she should be. Even if she would probably forget about her. About this place.
It still feels as if she has lost a person under her care.]
Action
No, I was thinking of using the books everyone has to contact people to come and collect things. There are a few notes here.
[The princess leafed through the envelopes after setting the box down, before plucking out on in particular holding it out to the spartan.]
Oh, here Miss Daisy, this one's for you.
Action
As she reads it... A sad smile forms.
A part of her is ashamed she did not get to see Lina save her, as the sorceress thought things should have been... And if it weren't for all the luck she's had in this place, the way things would have been.]
...
She left her short sword.
[The best way she has to contain her emotions, as a Spartan. In a way, Lina would watch over her.]
Action
[Blinking, the healer listened before rummaging in the box and pulling out the sword, gently offering it to the spartan. At least she deserved something to remember the rehead sorceress by.]
Here. Miss Lina always preferred her magic over weapons anyway.
Action
You've been with Lina longer than I did. She watched over you. [They shared a house, and a world.]
I can't help her now. But if you ever need my help... Call me.
[Spartan's oath.]
Action
Yes, she did. Still, she's never been one to stay in the same place for too long. Still, everytime she leaves, I know I'll see her again, so I don't need to worry too much.
[Blinking at Daisy's words, she beamed more, raising her hand to give a peace sign. As a princess and champion of justice, Amelia was also often bound by her word, willingly of course.]
That's a very kind offer Miss Daisy, thank you very much. And I hope you know I'll extend the same courtesy to you.
Action
Thank you, Amelia. I hope it becomes that way.
[In this world, or theirs.
Daisy drinks from her tea. There is a sense of serenity in this, she notes. She looks at Amelia, in a wordless invitation if she wants to sit or kneel as well for this.]
Action
I'm sure it will.
[Smiling warmly, she tilted her head curiously, hoping her attempts at conversation wouldn't be too intrusive.]
Can I ask how long you've been here Miss Daisy?
Action
[And... the Spartan realizes, it's felt like a short time for her.]
It's funny. I thought it'd be harder to get used to this place.
[A lot of people despise this place, but when you have nothing to return to, it turns into your only home.
Even with what the Malnosso do.]
Action
[Granted Amelia's life wasn't without incident. Running around saving the world from time to time had it's moments, but at least then there was always a chance for things to end well. In Luceti, it seemed like they were powerless. Being unable to help people here, her powers reduced, that was what truly made things difficult for her.]
[Still, no good would come from moping, so she put on a brave face, smiling sheepishly at Daisy.]
You're fortunate then Miss Daisy. I'm still not entirely sure about this place, even though I've been here for a couple of months myself.
Action
[As a Spartan, she does. Daisy herself had almost been consumed by the same feeling of helplessness. It was that way until a friend brought her back together, and reminded her that a Spartan does not give up nor give in to depression. There is always a solution, even if it may not come the first moment.]
For some of us, it's a break from back home.
[Or the only thing they have left.]
But what I like the most about this place are the differences. All you can learn. [She smiles to her.] Nobody can use magic where I'm from, not even healing spells. [There is a small degree of pride she tries to contain.] Now I move the winds as if they were a part of me.
[The gift of Kipinn and Valvalis.]
