REPORT 020 :: PRINCESS // VIDEO
[The feed reveals... Hair. A lot of it. There seems to be an apartment beneath it, too. A certain Daisy is the source, with the most exasperated expression ever.]
I need assistance.
[Once the feed shuts down, Daisy wonders how easy would it be to find her combat knife and some scissors.]
I need assistance.
[Once the feed shuts down, Daisy wonders how easy would it be to find her combat knife and some scissors.]

I don't remember really. It all came naturally when I was created. It's only here that I'm... "weak" [[Spoken heavily with quotations. She's far from it, and this only suggests she's far more powerful without the town's restrictions.
But, Val is enjoying herself, and still making quick work. It's not her fault you suddenly sprouted some 70 feet of hair!]]
no subject
... She's shy. But I think you'd like her.
[It seems Mendez allowed Spartans to break a few of their prohibitions once they graduated. A privilege Cal abused.
Daisy doesn't fail to notice the quotations in her voice. She has seen the elemental's power first-hand.]
So your power is constant... [She lowers her head to think. As the elemental happily continues brushing. She closes her eyes in another attempt. She tries a few bursts of wind below her hair, that she sends them in waves to keep her golden hair floating.
...In a way, it resembles a cape of gold, even as it falls back to the floor.]
Is there a method you use to lift your hair?
no subject
You know, somewhere comfortable. [[She brushes away, and chuckles a bit when she finds that she's ended up brushing some of her own hair along with the newly-designated Princess Daisy.]]
I think I just might, mostly in that she's a colleague of yours. I'll do my best to be gentle with her, should she ever arrive~
no subject
Be careful. They could get tangled up.
[... It would be even more problematic if that happened, though.]
If she ever got here... Please be. It would take her a while to open up.
[When a Spartan considers another too shy to even talk, she has issues.]
As for the hair... It's almost the same method I used, isn't it? I send the wind in waves, and I let it go.
[This time, her state of mindless zen is deeper, as she channels wind magic. Her hands pace themselves as they send wave, after wave, after wave of hair to make it float. It looks almost as if Daisy was underwater.
For it, though, her state of meditation is deep. Concentrating her whole mental energy in levitating her hair.
You know, the perfect time to troll her.]
no subject
More like weeks, but still!
Val is more proud than in the mood to troll. All of Daisy's hair's been lifted, rather successfully. Big sis takes the moment to arrange it with her own wind; it's not like Daisy could sense it either, considering. Val gives the wind a nice swirl to it, effectively coiling the girl's hair around the room, spiraling outward until the ends.
Of course, this makes the Elemental jealous.
Commence trolling protocol: 8008. Val slips under the floating hair and leans over just right, setting her bosom atop the Spartan's head.]]

She does feel a pair of big bumps over her head, though.
Daisy slowly opens her eyes. She sees nothing in front. She turns to her right. A flat tummy and a bellybutton too close to her. She wonders why would Val be so close, but she raises her head and-- ]

3/3
Val! I-- Why!?
[You did a fine job, Val. Words are lost to Daisy.
She does find a use to all of this hair, though. It makes for a pretty good hiding place while elementals trolled her.]
no subject
[[Of course, this turns into a hug, hair in the face or not. Afterward, she kneels over and gets eye level with the girl.]] It really does suit you, even if excessive. Maybe something a little closer to here?
[[She gives a gentle swat at her lower thigh. Not quite the knee, but not the hips either. Her hands gently part Daisy's hair over her face, letting her have a look at the spiral of hair surrounding her on the floor. At least, despite the 70, 100 or whatever length of hair that's she's been granted, it looks manageable enough to get around her abode.]]
Well, at least it's no longer a mess at the moment. You can see the floor againā„
no subject
After the hug, she peeks out of her golden hideout. She looks at the masses of golden hair. At least it's in order now.]
Thanks. I think.
[Something Val was too gleeful to help and troll with.]
I've been told that. I'm not keeping it, but...
[... Okay, the fact she is considering it is the sign that she has spent too much time with Valvalis.]
I've thought about keeping it a little long. Just enough for it to fit my helmet.
I'd have more problems with it than you would.
[She is a Spartan that is mastering the element of air; alas, not a wind elemental with bulletproof hair.]
no subject
Well, I won't expect you to get used to this! It's lively but, I don't even know how Rapunzel manages it. I do hope to learn myself, one day.
But, that's why I'm suggesting it here. [[She lays both hands where she indicated before.]]. Long enough to be elegant, but still a challenge without being too extreme. For you at least.
Surely there's a few things we can learn to help tame it a little. Braiding, is it? There's that! I'm certain we can both get help on this.
no subject
I don't know if this will stay once the experiment is over. [She wishes it won't, though.] But I could give it a try. As long as I can get it inside the helmet, I don't have many reasons to keep it short, to be honest with you.
[Military short hair exists to both protect the combatant from hair-pulls, and to create a sense of uniformity. The first is moot since she normally fights inside a 1000lb suit of armor, and the second is laughable when you're in Luceti.
She shifts a bit, still noting the weight of the curtain of golden hair she is covered with.]
Wouldn't the braid remain heavy... And harder to get inside the helmet?
no subject
[[Now... why is it she doesn't own any sort of camera for this kind of thing? Family things. Maybe a photo album is in order?]]
I'm not sure about that. I don't think it would weigh any more than hair normally does. But, I think it would be far easier to handle with a helmet than simply letting it flutter about. Lovely as that would be.
no subject
I think there's a way.
[She shifts a little, along with her over twenty meters of hair, towards where her armor should be. The helmet with the eye of gold resurfaces amidst golden locks. Last time she thought of doing this, her helmet had been broken. Daisy still thanks Rin Tohsaka and Shirou Emiya for having repaired her suit when she first arrived.
The Spartan picks it up while pushing a strand of hair from her sight, wears it for a second (pushing her hair as down as she could), then hands it to Valvalis.]
It's not an instant photograph, and I don't know if we have something to even print the image. [She stops to think, staring at her own reflection in the helmet.] Nel had an old camera, right?
["Old" meaning "From the twentieth century, because I'M FROM THE FUTURE".]
no subject
No, it wasn't Nel. It was someone else... she's left already. I could, though, probably find someone else with one. Hopefully very soon. I'd hate to miss out on this before it's over.
Mmm... you know... I really should start a collection of these pictures. They do often make for rather adorable pictures of you.
no subject
I've been collecting them.
[The back of her journal has a few photos, most of them from the time LucetiLand returned: Daisy spending time with friends of her, and with a huge plush toy, no less (right now resting in the Chief's sleeping quarters).
Along with their first attempts with a camera, the first photo ever taken of her mother is still there.]
My helmet can record footage and take pictures, but without something to print these images, I can only use it for my work.
[Even if there was one here, she didn't know if they'd have photographic paper.]
I think we should get a camera sometime, though, but I don't know where could we find one.
no subject
[[Val will try the helmet on though... she does look a little silly wearing it, honestly.]]
Mmm, I think I'll go out and look for one. Now, you be a good girl and... and don't go cutting any of this off until I get back. Understood?
[[Val makes her way to the window and slips out... not WITH the helmet of course. And she does hope to get back in time before any of those hair-cutting threads incur!]]
no subject
I'll be waiting, Val.
[To say it's uncomfortable for Daisy is understating it. She can barely move around her room, and while she had let her hair grow long after some time as a Spartan, she can't wait for this peril to be solved.
But for Valvalis, not a single strand of hair will be touched. She waits for her by the window.]
no subject
She does find somebody with one eventually, and she's quickly on her way back!]]
Did you wait for me right here? That's sweet~
[[Val slips in the window and makes use of setting up the camera. At least she was shown how to use it with a timer. Camera on the table pointed at Daisy, with Val draped over her shoulders.
Click-and-flash!]]
no subject
It wouldn't have corteous not to.
[She can't help but give a nervious smile. She sets herself near Valvalis, her smile less nervious, and more natural. By the way she waited for the elemental, and how Daisy is no longer the least bothered by the elemental being draped over her shoulders, even Val seems to know how much the Spartan likes her.
She blinks after the flash. It's nowhere as bad as being hit by a flash-bang, but she wonders how people tolerated photographs back then.]
I hate the flash.
no subject
[[Ahh, horray for Polaroids! The wonders if instant photography; the days before digital. Though, it's all fancy future things to her, at least!]]
no subject
[Other people would tell her to suck it up, in any case.
Daisy leans beside the elemental to look at the picture as it takes form... And for an instant mistakes herself with Valvalis. Seeing herself with that much hair does shed some light on why did the elemental decide to troll her.
But she wants that photograph as well.]
Can we take another?
[She does not have a photo of the rest of the girls. She reminds herself to look for a camera. Somehow.]
no subject
[[The Fiend sets things up for another photo, draping herself over the soldier again. The flash goes off once again, only Val giggles when she sees Daisy blink.
When you deal with so much magic, it takes quite a bit more than a simple camera flash to make her blink!]]
Now, we both have one.
We'll have to get one of us as a family once this little experiment is over. But, at least we have the memory, weither or not the hair stays~
no subject
The taller girl looks at it for a long moment, with a smile. She puts it in the back of her journal.]
I don't think it'll stay. [Not in its' illogical length, she hopes.] But we need a photo of the four of us. If we can get or keep a camera, I'd love to have one.
[Daisy, Neliel, Valvalis, and Kirimi.
The rapunzel hair will not be present. But Daisy's longer hair will.]
