REPORT 001 :: CONSCRIPTION // ACTION
[There is a girl in a delicate sundress advancing through the snow with her head down, stopping behind every tree big enough to cover her position, to look at the area around her. She shivers, and her hair had collected frost that had stuck on her blond hair, but her eyes continuously scan every tree in the environment with distrust and paranoia, ignoring the environment around her, as if she was being hunted.
Those that have spent time in the military would recognize her movements resembled that of a soldier. A weaponless soldier without protective armor or equipment, but a soldier nonetheless.
More specifically, a SPARTAN-II. And a Spartan was never weaponless.
Her breathing condenses with the frigid air around her, but she ignores it. This girl continues advancing through the forest, but she abruptly stops mid-way, looking at something in the snow, for a long moment uncaring of the alien woods that held her. She slowly bends down, and picks it up.
She mutters to herself.]
I've seen this before... I left this back there.

I've seen this before... I left this back there.

Yes, ma'am.
[She follows the footsteps of the busty girl, feeling awkward towards her display of joy in the midst of her confusion. Her wings cover her shoulders as she follows the princess, trying not to think that the fluffing feathers that were now protecting her of some of the cold were not supposed to be hers.]
no subject
she doesn't slow her pace any - after all, cold - but she turn turn her head a little]
You don't need to call me ma'm, I'm just Charlotte. What's your name?
no subject
Chief Petty Officer SPARTAN-023, UNSC NavSpecWar.
[She answers immediately, without stopping, as part of the instincts ingrained into her.
But the problem was, this girl has asked her name. And while her name was known only by her closest companions... she is not sure whenever if a lot of the people here would stick with her rank, let alone her number.
With hesitance, she replies, almost in a whisper.]
Daisy.
no subject
Um... that first name's really long and I'm not sure I'll remember all of it, so I could call you Twenty-Three if you like? [A pause Okay she's pretty sure that second one was-] Or Daisy~ I like Daisy more, actually.
no subject
They're both fine.
[That's her way of it's cool to call her Daisy.
They finally arrive at the Cafe. The Spartan, still with only the sundress she woke up with, feels foreign to the setting. One she had never been traited to face. Never prepared.]
no subject
So, I'll get our drinks. Coffee, hot chocolate?
no subject
yet equally massivereasons-.She lowers her head to avoid the lintel of the door. Her demeanor remains the same as when she was found in the forest, but agrees with the princess' decision not to be close from the windows.]
The later.
[The Spartan didn't really trust how well was her organism should have recovered after... after that battle. For all she knew, some problems would've remained, and the accelerated heartbeat the caffeine could cause into her could worsen any condition she could have.
Secretly, though, Daisy always had a spot for sweets.]
Permission to speak freely? [This question is not so much because of the possibility of this girl being a higher rank than she is, but out of respect.] I expected more formality. [This is not to offend. Heads of state and their families were to be treated with the utmost respect.]
1/2
Well then, I have a formal order! You aren't allowed to treat me like a princess!
no subject
We're really fart from Hazelrink, after all, so even though I am one, it doesn't matter that much here, right? We could just be friends.
no subject
halfwants, but won't be allowed to. Why so serious, Ms. Boobsalot.]Affirmative, Ms. Hazelrink.
[GOD DAMN IT, DAISY.]
Charlotte.
[She stands as the Princess continues to search for the drinks. The Chief Petty Officer cannot help but wonder why would someone want to eat with a Spartan.]
no subject
She then sits]
We'll get you some clothes after this, okay? ...But I'm not sure they'll have your size.
no subject
I understand.
[Slowly, she sits in the chair, turning her legs somewhat to compensate for the height of her figure, above the measures the table and the chair had been designed for.
Finally, upon her invitation, she takes a sip.
And likes it. She hadn't tasted hot chocolate in a long time. She is visibly surprised by the taste.]
no subject
[Meanwhile, eyeing her the whole while she takes her own coffee sip. She's really... more focused on the girl in front of her, but details]
no subject
Is it possible? [Asked out of courtesy, of course.] I would like to understand the area better. Though a new service uniform would be in order.
[She drinks from her chocolate, enjoying the taste, then asks.]
How long have you been in here?
no subject
no subject
I see.
[The Chief Petty Officer looks at the contents of her mug, unsure of what could she speak about. Sure enough, this girl had ordered her to stop treating her like a superior, but there's only so much she could find for conversation.
But, the country of Hazelrink is an unknown one to her. Is she from Earth?]
You mentioned you were a Princess. Of a country named Hazelrink?
no subject
Yeah... it's a small country and even a lot of people from Earth haven't heard of it. [Not that she sounds offended by this] We're close neighbors [rivals, more like, but she doesn't want to say that] with the Flemish Principality, but the closest large country to us is Germany. We're nessled between it and Belgium.
[That sounded mechanical. She wonders if the other girl will appreciate that or not. She's trying to keep her tone calm and even, answer the questions as they come but... well, it's her nature to be brash and forward it's a little hard to fight it]
no subject
I'm afraid I have not heard of that country, in history classes or Earthern geography. [She paid attention to Deja's classes, but there was so much she could remember.] But it'd be possible that your world developed differently. ...Charlotte.
[You can tell Daisy practically ate the word "ma'am".]
...You are from Earth? [The higher classes tended to live there, after all.] Are there colonies in your world?
no subject
What... type of colonies?
no subject
Planets. Worlds for human life. Colonies of Earth.
...
I don't think they have FTL Travel?
no subject
[Awkward]
no subject
[Don't feel bad, Mrs. Lotsatits. You are way better at socializing than she is.
She drinks from her Chocolate.]
I had only read from history books, and comments from tourists that used to visit it. What was Earth like?
no subject
Oh, I wish you could see some of the places I've been... I wonder if I can find pictures in the library...
no subject
I've read it is one of the human worlds with the most fauna. The biggest cities. The most protected forests. I've always read it is the Rome of humanity. [She looks at the forest.] But I think it's something you need to see to understand.
no subject
But then she focuses on part one belatedly, after taking another sip. It is as if the coffee animates her-]
...But yeah! Penguins, they're black and white and stand upright, walking around. They can't fly, but they can swim. They're really cute, I can't find one here but I've got a lot of toy ones I could show you later.
