REPORT 013 :: CATHARSIS // VOICE | ACTION
This is Spartan TwentyThree.
New feathers. Any and all UNSC forces in the area. Respond.
... I'm back.
[ENCRYPTED TO CLINIC PERSONNEL // TOP SECRET // EYES ONLY]
What equipment do we have in the Clinic?
[ENCRYPTED TO VALVALIS // TOP SECRET // EYES ONLY]
Thank you. I mean it.
[ENCRYPTED TO PAPRIKA // CLASSIFIED // EYES ONLY]
Ma'am. That offer for treatment. Is it still standing?
[ENCRYPTED TO SUPERMAN // CLASSIFIED // EYES ONLY]
...
[She sounds meek when she asks.]
Can we talk?
[ACTION FOR HOUSE 20]
[Comm matters taken care of, she goes to House Twenty, having quite remembered the matter of the hat, and it's implications. With two knocks on the front door, the armored figure calls out.]
Mr. Castagnier.
[After that...]
[Later in the day, having gotten the package, the 7ft tall girl in red armor goes to the Clinic, hat in hand, to see if there's equipment there to see if there are hairs in it to analyze for DNA. Yes, for her, that damned hat is that important.]

[Action]
[You're going to have to clarify; the matter of the hat has totally slipped his mind at the moment. It's just sort of occupying precious ice cream space in his freezer right now.]
[Action]
[... Well, even she feels silly to think that something as frivolous as a hat may be so important.]
... May I come in?
[She needs to see that the package is at least in decent conditions. She doesn't know if she would be allowed, though...]
[Action]
[That last part is directed at the small, fuzzy chimera that is currently sniffing at Daisy's shoes curiously. Who is this odd-looking stranger?]
I'm sorry, he just gets curious about new people. He doesn't bite or anything, so you don't have to worry about that.
[Action]
It's alright. [She doubted Sial would be able to chew through titanium, but given this place, she'd rather not risk it.
She walks inside, taking care of the little creature. Then, she removes her helmet, revealing the human inside.]
Sorry I didn't come early.
[Action]
[He grabs a cookie to feed to Sial as a distraction before going over to the refrigerator and opening the freezer portion, carefully extracting the hat and holding it cautiously between two fingers almost as if he's afraid to touch it too much.]
Should I put it in a box or something?
[Action]
Do you have a sealed container, sir?
[Maybe it was hoping too much.]
... or a ziplock?
[Action]
I'm not sure I have anything big enough to seal it in. I could put it in a box, but that's about it. I don't think that's going to keep the DNA or whatever it's called from getting away.
[Because he... is assuming that DNA is like tiny fleas or something.]
[Action]
[To be fair, she's about as well versed when it comes to other laws of reality.]
Only concern is deterioration. Gonna check at the clinic if there's a way to freeze with without polluting the samples.
[Action]
[Action]
[This gives her some hope.]
I'm going to ask around. There's a lot of people that may now help.
Thank you for holding it, sir. [Beat.] ...I hope it wasn't a hassle.
[SPARTAN-023 noticed the ice cream on the freezer. She's glad the hat wasn't that much polluted, in any way.]
[Action]
[At the thanks, he flushes slightly.]
Oh, um, you're welcome. It wasn't any trouble at all-- I'm just glad I could do something to help.
[Action]
[His technology and information could come in handy.
She nods.]
Be well, sir.
[Action]
You too. Just let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.
