This is SPARTAN-023.

I am reporting that in January 30th of the Sixth Cycle of Luceti, Captain Adell of the Blue Rogues has returned to his world to continue his duties.

Because of it, by his orders established in the case he left, I have been assigned to command the unit until it's original founder, Captain Vyse, returns to Luceti and officially retakes his position as leader of the Blue Rogues.

Additionally, he has asked for someone to keep the Hakurei Shrine in his absence, a project me and the Captain built for mutual friends of ours. Faith is of no matter.

[She stops, not sure with what to sign this with. By the UNSC, she was still a Chief Petty Officer, and only if someone on the UNSC chose to do so she would be promoted.

Strangely, now it's the time when she wonders if rank matters at all in here.]

VILLAGE

[After leaving the message, she remains in her room staring at the note addressed not only to her, but the note addressed to Reimu along with the bottles of Gensokyo and RosenQueen sake Adell trusted her with if he ever left. His final order was basic, and a Spartan, it was curious how much did it make her think. She spends a long time staring at the note he left for her.

"Live. For yourself, for the people you love, and for a better world. Just live."

After several minutes, she grabs the bottles and the notes, and locks them in the same place she kept the more important possessions. She sets the picture of Adell with his old family in House 44 beside Daisy's own. Beside Valvalis, Neliel, Kirimi, and Keimi.

This time, she doesn't overdo her exercises and meditations. She dresses in the same winter garbs she wore a year ago, and wanders around the Restaurant, the Tea shop, the Item shop and even the Hot Springs.

Before the day is over, she returns to her Garden over the roof of the Fifth Community Housing to continue her personal project. Winter will end soon, and spring will allow even more flowers to bloom in the aftermath of the harsh environment. There were so many kinds she wanted to plant.

As she called for the help of Faeren and Sona when taking care of the flowers, she couldn't wait until it was the time to plant orchids.]

[Ami knows those moments, the times when you question everything you've taken for granted. What worked in one world doesn't work in another. You don't work in another, not in the same way, no matter what you find to do to make yourself feel more normal. Your goals, your aspirations, they just don't seem the same.

So she answers Daisy's call right away.]

[Keimi wanted to give Daisy as much privacy as she wanted. With how important Adell was, not only to her, but to the Blue Rogues, she wanted to make sure Daisy would have enough time to mourne. After she announces Adell's disappearance, Keimi peeks her head through their bedroom door.]

[If there was one thing (alright, there were many things) that Bilbo Baggins was unwilling to do without, it was proper tea. So the tea shop had quickly become a favorite spot, lingering over a cup or buying the loose-leaf tea when he could, to make for himself. As a bachelor, he was fairly accustomed to fending for himself, really.

Daisy, by comparison to the hobbit, was still not just tall. She was absolutely enormous. Bilbo had the odd feeling that she sort of crowded the room, the way Gandalf could back in his hobbit hole, but this was a normal-sized room for Men.

[She hardly noticed the sounds of Bilbo's feet approaching when she entered the tea shop. When he calls her... she does a double-take. The man's height resembles the florian humans of prehistory, but his appearance was more delicate than rough of the lessons Deja taught them on human evolution.

There is something else she recognizes him from. He looks like the personification of "The Hobbit". Her favorite book before she even got into this world.

Her mind processes the information in front of her way faster than most humans would. She still delays in her answer.]

... Yeah. I was. [She rises, lowering her head to avoid the lights of the roof.] I'm not picky. But do you want one in special?

Maybe a sniping session on the Dome. Or the restaurant, sir, if you want.

[After a hard day's work, there's little better than a soak in the hot springs. Red's enjoying a visit to said springs when he hears someone else arriving. Looks like it's... oh, there's no mistaking that height. It's Daisy. Good thing he actually has a swimsuit on this time. He'll just wave to her as she approaches.]

[Fortunately for the seven feet tall girl, she has a swimsuit her size as well. This time it's a red bikini with a golden stripe on her right.]

Red? [She didn't expect to see him here.] Isn't... the water making you uncomfortable?

[She turns to the girl. She bends her legs to compensate for her seven feet of height. She slowly nods.]

I'd like some sweet tea, maybe a new blend if you want. I'm just resting a little.

It's damnably hard to bide his time like this and is only making his fury grow. but and eight foot tall tattooed orc in full armor and with an axe on his back is currently hefting a pick-axe in his hand and giving it a testing swing]

[Daisy herself is seeking for plush toys. In spite of her height, she actually looks more like a civilian as she looks around -- decoration for her quarters.

It doesn't mean she lets go of her training and senses. She hears something very heavy and in armor entering the shop. She turns.

The being was as tall as a Covenant Elite, but stockier. Needless to say, he had the vibe of a warrior. And a low temper. She slowly stands back up, and stands to watch. Study him.]

[Yet another one of the many people Robert remembers, gone. It's so strange - and disturbing - to see the number of names he remembers from earlier in Luceti dwindle...

But what hurts is knowing the pain that this causes Daisy. An ache similar to the ones he felt from his own losses suffuses him as he responds, and it might be audible in his voice - low, and softer than even his usual quiet voice.]

[Grune is inside, sorting through her photos, when she receives a message on the journals. She looks up, a little surprised, before answering it. And when she hears the request, she immediately sets her photos to one side.]

Oh, I'd be happy to spend some time with you, Daisy. What do you want to do?

[She pauses to think.]

Can you meet me at the top of the Fifth Community Housing? I'd like your help there.

[It's partly a lie. What Daisy wants right now is company. With the way people have left, it has turned into a growing fear of it repeating.]
